Open House 2012

Memorial Day Open House

This year Memorial Day will not end with the parade.
This year the post will be serving Hot dogs along with refreshments
|beginning at 1:00 pm and continuing until 4:00 pm.

There will be lots to do, horseshoes, cards, food,
and refreshments!

Don’t miss out on this special event. The Historic Museum will be open. If you have not seen this project, you are really missing something special. Auxiliary Historian Janet Rasch has enlisted the help of many members of this post, as well as some from the community, to put together a collection of Veteran Service Memorabilia. The museum is open only for special events so don’t miss this chance to wittiness this very special display.

The hall and all activities will be open to the public.
Invite your friends and relatives to come and see what we are all about.

Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs.

Memorial Day Activities

The Auxiliary will be serving breakfast at the Legion Post starting at 6:00 AM.
A short practice will be conducted after breakfast.

We will be traveling as follows:

7:30 AM.........……………….....................Wells Cemetery

7:45AM..............................St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Wright

8:30 AM...........……………....................Advent Cemetery

8:55 AM................…..............St Mary’s Cemetery, Marne

9:45 AM.........…..……..................Parade Begins in Marne

10:30 AM........….…………….....................Marne Cemetery

11:15 AM..........………………..................Lamont Cemetery

12:00 PM..........………….…..................Rosedale Cemetery

This is the tentative schedule of locations and times.
There will probably be adjustments to the schedule as the day

Celebrate Our 60th Year!!!

After the Parade and following the final Cemetery Ceremony, everyone is invited to come back to the Post for an afternoon of food, refreshments and fellowship from 1:00pm until 4:00pm
