Our Man in Haiti

Marne Post 376 is proud to have several active duty personal as members of our Post. One such member is Adam Kishman. The Kishman family has long been loyal and active members of this Post. Here are some photos of Adam to give you an idea of the kind of work that is being done by one of our members while serving our country.

CARREFOUR, Haiti (Jan. 19, 2010) Lt. Kristina Rogish, a flight surgeon assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 treats an injured child while Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Adam Kishman diverts her attention to a stuffed animal at the Killick Haitian Coast Guard Clinic in Carrefour, Haiti. Personnel from the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and CVW-17 are conducting humanitarian and disaster relief assistance at the clinic as part of Operation Unified Response after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake caused severe damage in Haiti on Jan. 12, 2010. U.S. Navy Lt. Petty Officer 2nd Class Adam Kishman pins the World War II Victory Medal on Navy veteran Loyd Carter’s sweater during a March 14 ceremony in the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training bay here. Petty Officer Kishman and Rear Adm. Doug McClain, director of global operations, U.S. Strategic Command, awarded seven medals to the Petty Officer Third Class who survived the Pearl Harbor attack aboard the USS California and the sinking of the USS Indianapolis. Petty Officer Kishman learned of the veteran’s service and was praised for arranging the long-overdue awards ceremony. (Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
