Membership in the American Legion is based on honorable service
with the U. S. Armed Forces
for the following dates of service:

The Marne American Legion Post 376 is located just a little North of Marne Michigan,
Northwest of Grand Rapids.

Established in 1952, we have maintained a steady membership
involved with supporting our veterans in various ways
including the Michigan Home for Veterans at Grand Rapids.
We are made up of four groups:
The Marne American Legion Post 376
(Member or Veteran of US Armed Service)
The Sons of the American Legion Post 376
(Descendent of a Member or Veteran of US Armed Service)
The Marne American Legion Auxiliary Post 376
(Relation to a Member or Veteran of US Armed Service)
and
The Ottawa-North Kent Blue Star Mothers MI-194
(Mother of a Member or Veteran of US Armed Service)
During the year we participate in the Memorial Day parade
in beautiful downtown Marne
featuring a Memorial ceremony at the water bridge
complete with a gun salute.
Also, the post host a series of Fish Fry’s
during the Lenten Season on Friday evenings.
We have an annual Easter Egg Hunt,
Set-Back Tournaments,
a Christmas Gathering, and more.
The Marne American Legion Post 376 is also proud and honored to provide our Vets with a Military Honor Guard
when requested.
Together we work towards creating an atmosphere of Benevolence, Fellowship and Patriotism.
