Esther Finkler
Esther Finkler of Conklin was born on May 9, 1928, and entered eternal life with her Lord on May 30, 2026, after celebrating her 98th year. Her final hours on Earth were spent with all of her children while she waited upon the Lord to bring her into her Heavenly home where she was reunited with Melvin Finkler, her husband of 54 years, who preceded her. She is survived by her children: Marj (Larry) Williams, Gary (Leslie) Finkler, John (Ann) Finkler, Mary (Dan) Flinski, Ken (Deb) Finkler, Cheryl (Greg) Sokolowski, Theresa (Bob) Kary, Dale (Chris) Finkler, Mark (Cindy) Finkler, Maureen (Steve) MacDonald, Brian Finkler and her son-in-law Mark Gorecki.
Esther was a woman of hospitality and always wanted to have "something on hand" to serve anyone who stopped in unexpectedly. She showed her love through her actions in so many self-giving ways. She was steadfast in her dedication to her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor which got her through some of the great challenges in her life.
Esther was a long standing member of the Marne American Legion Auxiliary and supported the activities there.
